Goal Zero Yeti 150 Solar Generator.

Let the adventure roll on!

Hell everyone,

Lets talk for a little bit about another piece of equipment we take out on every trip with us. The Goal Zero Yeti 150 Solar Generator. I absolutely love this damn thing, I have used it for just about everything from charging the GPS and cameras to charging the laptop for movie night in the mountains. I can not believe just how much this little guy can do, let me tell you about one trip in particular. Me and some friends went out for a four day trip and everyone ended up needing to use the Yeti at some point, we got to our location and started setting up, my one friend needed to blow up 3 air mattresses for his family, well he pulls out his little battery operated air pump and guess what the batteries were dead. He could have sat there and blown them all up by mouth although it would have been hilarious to sit there and watch him the whole time I decided to walk over with the Yeti and a plug in air pump, job was done in a couple minutes saving us all from hearing about it for the rest of the trip. OK that job was done and it was time to hang out and relax what better way then a movie, after stealing my Yeti back I set it up on a tree stump and plugged in the projector. Once everyone started noticing what was going on at my campsite everyone grabbed their dinners and migrated over, I knew we had about 12 people in our little group but some how we ended up with about 30 people at our campsite. Picture this your driving down a mountain trail looking for a camp site and you notice someone has a movie screen on the side of there tent, it was basically a 8ft wide by 7ft tall screen watching Captain America in the middle of the Uintah Mountains wouldn’t you stop in as well? So in one day we filled up 3 air mattresses, Charged who knows how many cell phones, ran a 2 hr movie and still had enough juice to run the lights in the tent when it was bed time. The best part the next morning I set the solar panel out on the hood of the Xterra and went about our day, come that night the Yeti was charged back up and we started the whole thing over again. I bought mine in a package deal that came with a boulder 15w Solar panel. I cant remember the price when I bought mine but the current deal is the Yeti generator and a Nomad 20w solar panel for $387.99. I know that is pricey but think about it you can run an entire campsite with this think and it charges up for free by the sun.
